We were fortunate enough to hang out with the Dorado Schmitt and the Gipsy All Stars and when they were in the Los Angeles area January 26th-30th. We took them site seeing in Hollywood, a tour of Venice Beach as they listed to our GYPSYBILLY music, they gave some music lessons to Americans and Dorado bought a very nice Gibson. We even got to jam with them! What a treat! I guess we’re part of the Manouche family now, as Dorado has extended an invitation for us to come and visit any time we would like It was such fun and we hated to see them go. Here are some photos of our time with them:

Happy New Year or Bonne Annee (en Francais)! Just to recap what went on in 2009…….lots of promotion for “Birth of the Gypsybilly”! We attended the APAP Conference in New York the early part of the year as well as the TAXI Convention in Los Angeles in the Fall. We’re receiving airplay, did some radio interviews and also CD reviews. Rockabilly Magazine is reviewing it as we speak so please check back for that one. We’ve been writing and preparing for another record so we’ll keep you all posted as we move forward with that.
We have finally recovered from this year’s NAMM Show! Here’s a couple of videos and photos:

Hope this finds you all well and happy:) We have been working on promoting the album all over the U.S. The new album “Birth of the Gypsybilly” has been well received by radio all across the country. Merci, radio!
Here’s an interview about the genesis of Gypsybilly music with KROK 92.1 FM in Louisiana on “Midnight Eclectic” with Derek Spears. Three songs are featured on this exclusive interview (13.5, Inherent to Existence, Je ne suis pas comme toi). Enjoy!!
The artwork is really fun with a couple of funny photos inside! We hope you enjoy the full-length songs and by all means we welcome your comments. We’d love to know which tunes are your favorite.
We’ve started rehearsing for some up-coming gigs so please check back with us. It’s a lot of work but a lot of fun too We’ve been getting some airplay so check with your local station to make your requests. Hopefully they have the CD and if they don’t, let us know which stations doesn’t have it and we’ll be happy to send them one. Let us know if you have any questions of anything you would like to see or hear from us. Thanks for checking in. We’ll keep you posted.
